Centra is pleased to announce the expansion of its executive team with the appointment of three exceptional healthcare professionals who bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the organization. These strategic additions represent Centra's commitment to delivering exceptional care and advancing its mission to improve the health and quality of life for the communities we serve.
On September 18, Mary Ann Fuchs will join Centra as Senior Vice President, Chief Nursing Executive. As a seasoned leader who holds over 30 years of nursing experience, Mary Ann is a champion of the interdisciplinary approach to care delivery and an advocate for clinical excellence, education and research. She previously served as an Executive Advisor to the Chancellor and CEO of Duke Health and for 23 years as the Vice President of Patient Care and System Chief Nurse Executive for Duke University Health System. Mary Ann earned a doctorate in nursing practice, a post-master’s certificate in education, and her master’s degree in oncology nursing from Duke University.
Kristin King has been promoted to the role of Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer. In her role as Chief Human Resources Officer, Kristin will oversee the strategic direction and implementation of comprehensive talent management initiatives, organizational culture enhancement and alignment of human resources strategies with Centra’s overarching business goals. Over the last three years, Kristin has been responsible for contributing to Centra’s success through effective people management and alignment of HR with the organization’s mission and vision. Prior to Centra, Kristin spent 18 years working for a healthcare organization in southern Illinois. She also holds a Master of Arts from Webster University where she specialized in business and marketing and a Bachelor of Arts in communications from Southern Illinois University–Carbondale.
Robin Hildwein, who has been serving as the interim Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer since 2022, will now assume the role permanently. Her interim leadership has been instrumental in maintaining the stability and continued success of Centra’s IT teams. Robin possesses extensive healthcare experience in the not-for-profit acute care environment, including 20 years as the Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Boca Raton Regional Hospital in Boca Raton, FL. In her role as CIO, Robin will provide strategic oversight of all Information Technology operations at Centra.
