Toral Patel, MD

Dr. Patel is board certified in Internal Medicine - Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology, Echocardiography, Cardiac CT and Cardiac MRI. After earning her medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, she received additional training through a residency in Internal Medicine at University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio and a fellowship in Cardiology and Cardiac Imaging at the University of Virginia.

She loves caring for the Lynchburg community because it is gratifying and humbling to create long-term relationships in this area. When she is not providing care at the Heart and Vascular Institute, she likes to spend her time hiking, gardening or traveling with her family.
