About Me
Sara Simpson is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with experience working with patients across a lifespan in numerous settings, including inpatient, correctional, outpatient, and community settings. Sara has experience treating an array of psychiatric illnesses, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, ADHD, and personality disorders. She utilizes a holistic, patient-centered approach using evidence-based practices to formulate a treatment plan unique to each patient's needs. Sara educates patients and helps them understand their diagnosis and treatment plan.
In her everyday life, she educates others about mental illness in hopes of reducing the stigma of mental health and letting people know it's ok to reach out for help. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her five children and husband. She likes to garden, paint canvas, do beadwork, and do hair, nails, and make-up.
