Dr. Tuladhar attended the University of Virginia, majoring in Infectious Diseases in Developing Countries. She went to St. George’s University for medical school where she spent time in the UK, Grenada and US giving her a global and diversified perspective on medicine. Her professional interests include community medicine, health disparities, women’s health, geriatrics, adolescent medicine, and global health among various others. Her hobbies include writing poetry, Indian classical and folk dancing, hiking, and yoga. In the next few years, she hopes to build strong relationships with her patients as well with the Lynchburg community while providing quality and compassionate healthcare services.

Visit with Dr. Tuladahr was excellent as were my prior visits. She answered all my questions and took time to explain any concerns I had. I received my blood work results and suggestions on what to do regarding my questions. I am very pleased to have her as my primary physician and would highly recommend her.

It was my first visit with her as my doctor. The exam was very brief. Asked questions about concerns which I have none. I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment time. I waited 30 minutes past my appointment time to be called by the nurse. I spent 15 minutes with the nurse and then waited another 10 to 15 minutes waiting for the doctor. My time with the doctor was 10 minutes. I believe I was provided adequate care but the amount of wait time for a 10 minute visit was way too long.

Dr. Tuladar always listens and takes concerns seriously. She also makes sure to explain things in ways that non medical professionals understand which results in me feeling very confident and educated about my treatment plan.

This was my second time getting a physical with Dr. Tuladhar. Both times she has been UNAWARE that I was there for a physical. The doctor walked in the room announcing I was there for a follow up appointment. Then I was asked if I was there to review my hormone bloodwork. I hadn't had any bloodwork from this doctor in over a year. These interactions make me feel I am just one person in a sea of nameless faces that the Centra staff are wading through. I would appreciate a doctor who requests my bloodwork BEFORE my physical and has put some thought and effort into preparing for my visit, even if it is just looking over my info for five minutes before she comes in. I also did not like that Dr. Tuladhar was trying to push off a pain in my side I was describing as a pulled muscle when I told her at least 3 times that I had not been lifting anything heavy or doing anything that would have strained a muscle there. Finally, when she told me she was going to refer me to see someone to do an ultrasound of my abdomen, there were no details shared. I had to ask how that worked and what next steps I should expect. I really liked Dr. Tuladhar in my first visit last year. She was very personable and attentive. This time, not so much.

This was my yearly physical and my first time seeing Dr. Tuladhar. She listened carefully and spent a long time with me, learning about my history and listening to all of my current concerns. She addressed each concern and offered good suggestions on dealing with each one. She was professional, kind, compassionate and helpful. I especially liked that she seemed to have a good balance of "holistic" suggestions and "medical" advice. She didn't just quickly suggest a medicine but instead offered some more "natural" remedies. Overall a very good first visit.

I just needed to get established with a PCP so I assumed it would be a quick, impersonal visit. Instead, Dr Tuladhar asked me a lot of questions about nutrition, sleep, etc that made me feel like she was investing in me as a patient. No wonder she is so popular!

The doctor showed a lot of care and concern for what I had to say and tried to help me have a better quality of life. The proposed treatments were more of suggestions than a discussion. I'm satisfied with the recommendations and will see how they work out.

THE PA showed more attentiveness than the doctor. The doctor was in the room all of three minutes, jotted down some notes, told me to change my diet and exercise and said, "See you in a year."

My appointment was very late in the day and felt rushed. It was less than 5 minutes. This is not typical for this office. Usually Dr. Tulador is very open to hearing my concerns but was not this time. Very disconcerning after waiting so long for an appointment.

Did not go over my blood work at all. Asked me if I had questions or concerns. I'm not the dr.! Did not seem to have any knowledge of my kidney numbers which have gotten worse! I called and left a message about this and a script was sent to CVS but no message or communication with the dr. I feel like I am managing my own health care!

In my past several visits I have noticed that the doctors do minmal indepth evaluation of your body compared to what was performed in the past, I know if I raise a concern, they will do what is needed to evaluate your concern. For example, I had a skin rash on the back of my calf that I did not know about during my recent exam, but because the patient no longer is in a gown there is no way the doctor or nurse would have seen it. I was later brought to my attention by a physical therapist andI subsequently had to see a dermatologist who diagnosed it and prescribed medication. Whay shouldn't a Centra doctor seeing me for a full examination be looking for abnormalities?

The doctor was fine, but the whole situation was confused by the medical student in attendanceUncharacteristic for a visit with this doctor I found this visit to be less than productive to my needs
