About Me

Dr. Anderson is board certified in Internal Medicine - Cardiovascular Disease . After earning his degree from University of Minnesota Medical School, he received additional training through a fellowship in Cardiology at University of Virginia Health System, and a residency in Internal medicine at Atrium Health's Carolinas Medical Center.  He loves caring for the Lynchburg community because "I love my patients and want to help them achieve the best health possible." When he is not providing care at the Heart and Vascular Institute,  he likes to spend his time with his family and reading the Bible.
