About Me

Dr. Haas is board certified in Internal Medicine- cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology. After earning his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine, he received additional training through an internship in Internal Medicine at Louisiana State University School of Medicine, residency in Internal Medicine at Louisiana State University School of Medicine and a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at St. Vincent Hospital Indiana. He loves caring for the Lynchburg community because he knows this is where God has called him to serve. When he is not providing care at the Heart and Vascular Institute, he likes to spend his time with his wife and two young children in the yard and in nature.

Dr. Haas is excellent with explaining all conditions, treatments, possible side effects, etc. He appeared to have sincere interest in your care and listens well to all questions & concerns.

Dr. Haas is a great, caring, and passionate physician. Centra and his patients should feel blessed to have him on the team. He's always very attentive to any issues or concerns I may have, goes above and beyond to ensure my care is a priority, even its not under his umbrella, such as the scheduling issues, and just a sound individual in general. Not only do I consider him a great doctor but also a friend.
