About Me
Jessica is a Nurse Practitioner certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She earned her Master’s Degree at Walden University. She says, "I love caring for the Lynchburg and surrounding areas because I believe I can make a difference in the lives of people with diabetes. I am a firm believer in Benjamin Franklin’s saying, “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” I thoroughly enjoy taking care of diabetics and helping them improve their diabetes. Diabetes is a challenging disease, but it is a manageable disease and that’s where my team comes in. We can help patients manage their diabetes and hopefully prevent risk complications."
When she is not providing care at the Heart & Vascular Institute, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, hanging out at Smith Mountain Lake, and anything outdoors.
