About Me
Dr. Christina Canzoneri was born and raised in Austin, Texas. She completed her undergraduate studies at Duke University, where she majored in Art History with minors in Biology and Chemistry. She obtained her Doctorate of Medicine (MD) at The University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas. She subsequently completed a residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Virginia Tech Carilion in Roanoke, Virginia.
Upon completion of her surgical training, Dr. Canzoneri was thrilled to be recruited to Centra Medical Group, where she can continue to provide care for patients in a region of Virginia that she is proud to call home since 2018. Dr. Canzoneri offers a wide variety of surgical and non-surgical procedures. She is particularly passionate about breast reconstruction, aesthetic surgery, and body contouring following massive weight loss.
Outside of the operating room, Dr. Canzoneri enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and miniature dachshund Miley.
