Brenda Stokes, MD is the Medical Director of Centra Hospice and CMG Supportive Care and Palliative Medicine. As Medical Director, she supervises all providers who work within hospice and palliative care. Additionally, she assists in overseeing patient care in both programs, including the regulatory compliance required for hospice care. Dr. Stokes believes in providing quality care for patients with chronic life-threatening or serious illnesses. She has worked in hospice and palliative medicine for 14 years and earned her medical degree from the University of Maryland at Baltimore. She holds board certifications in Family Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine along with the certifications of Certified Medical Director and Hospice Medical Director. She has two children and enjoys spending time at the beach, gardening and reading.
